The public has an opportunity to comment on DRAFT commercial space advisory circulars while they are on notice in the Federal Register. We will review all comments received and consider them for incorporation in the final document. Feedback for Draft ACs may be submitted via by emailing 9-ast-asz210-directives@faa.gov. Community Engagement - Wilmington International Airport, NC

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to modify the airspace over Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in North Carolina. The proposal would establish Class C airspace over ILM. Existing flight paths would not change, but where pilots are required to interact with Air Traffic Control would change. The airspace change is to better manage the complexity and volume of aviation activities in the area. The purpose of the meeting is to ask for comments on the proposal’s effect on local aviation operations.
