WASHINGTON — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a $127,500 civil penalty against Ameriflight, LLC of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, for allegedly violating drug and alcohol testing regulations.  

The FAA alleges Ameriflight hired one pilot and one mechanic, failed to include them in its random drug and alcohol testing pool, and allowed them to perform safety-sensitive duties. The alleged violations occurred on various dates between November 2024 and August 2025.

Ameriflight has 30 days to respond to the FAA’s enforcement letter.
