Delta Air Lines Flight 2577 was taxiing when its wingtip struck Spirit Airlines Flight 655, which was parked at its gate at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in Ohio around 7 p.m. local time Sunday, May 12. While taxiing, its winglet contacted a parked and unoccupied corporate jet. The incident occurred in an area of the airport where the FAA does not direct aircraft. The FAA is investigating.
