WASHINGTON — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a $56,000 civil penalty against Spring City Jet, Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for allegedly violating drug and alcohol testing regulations.  

The FAA alleges that Spring City Jet failed to ensure that all of its employees who performed safety-sensitive functions were subject to testing in accordance with its approved drug and alcohol testing program. The employees, including five pilots and an aircraft mechanic, performed safety-sensitive functions during various periods between December 2023 and December 2024.

Spring City Jet has 30 days after receiving the FAA’s enforcement letter to respond to the agency.
