What We Do
The Office of Legislation serves as legislative counsel to the agency and is responsible for all legislative policy matters. We provide analysis of proposed and pending legislation affecting or relating to the FAA that is before Congress and under consideration by the White House, and advice to agency officials concerning impacts to FAA authorities, policies, and programs. We also provide technical drafting assistance for these proposals within established guidelines.
Congressional Hearings and Testimony
Our office develops, drafts, and coordinates testimony to be given by FAA witnesses at congressional committee hearings.
