Designated Parachute Rigger Examiners (DPRE)

A Designated Parachute Rigger Examiner (DPRE) is an individual, appointed in accordance with 14 CFR section 183.25, who has a high level of knowledge in the subject areas required for parachute rigger certification, holds a master parachute rigger certificate for the particular designation, and meets the qualification requirements of Order 8900.2, General Aviation Airman Designee Handbook.
