FAA External Programs Civil Rights Complaint Form

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Civil Rights is responsible for ensuring that airport sponsors properly implement several civil rights laws and programs, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (Section 504), and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program, and the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) program.

In the FAA complaint investigation process, we analyze the complainant's allegations for possible noncompliance by the airport sponsor. If noncompliance is found, the noncompliant issues are presented to the airport sponsor with recommendations to bring the noncompliant issues in to compliance. The goals of the investigation process are informal resolution and voluntary compliance between the airport sponsor and the FAA.

FILING DEADLINE: A FAA Civil Rights discrimination complaint must be filed no later than 180 days from the date you knew or should have known of the alleged discrimination, unless the time for filing is extended by the FAA.
