OIIF

Engineering staff members at the Oceanic Integration and Interoperability Facility (OIIF) find cost-effective solutions by integrating cutting-edge technology and methodologies that promote safety, increase capacity, and support efficiency across the NAS. The OIIF provides laboratory and engineering services to modernize Oceanic infrastructure and integrate of new systems, procedures, or capabilities into the NAS. These services support activities such as development of new Oceanic innovations, proof-of-concept prototypes, early engineering assessments for new systems, operational evaluations, risk reduction demonstrations, training, and operational procedure development for both Air Traffic and Airway Facilities personnel.
