All students who participate in the Airport Design Challenge must have COPPA Notice to Parents and Media Release forms on file. The FAA has teamed with Kids Web Services (KWS) (https://faa.parents.kws.superawesome.tv) to establish this consent and to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).  While the majority of our students and their parents choose to utilize our automated parental verification service, we offer a manual option as well.  

If you choose to provide parental consent manually, click on the link above and complete the form. You may scan your completed form or take a picture of it and then send it to ASVED.Challenge@faa.gov for review. After review, your child’s account will become active.  Please allow 3-5 business days for this information to be entered into our system.
