Is Your COMAT Safe to Fly? Brochure: Company material (COMAT) are materials owned or used by the certificate holder. COMAT includes parts, consumable items, and other company materials to describe a wide array of company materials and parts. COMAT is often shipped to replace installed equipment such as chemical oxygen generators, serviceable items such as life rafts, or items removed for servicing and repair, such as laptops, tablets, or credit card readers. Many of these items are regulated as hazardous materials (HAZMAT) or dangerous goods when offered in air commerce.

- Dangerous Goods Operations Manual Information: A certificate holder's Dangerous Goods (aka Hazardous Materials) Operations and Training program constitutes the foundation for safely transporting dangerous goods by air.
- Advisory Circular: 14 CFR Part 121 and Part 135 Dangerous Goods Transportation Operations: This Advisory Circular (AC) provides certificate holders with recommended contents for a dangerous goods training program and manual designed to guide and manage dangerous goods operations.
- Dynamic Regulatory System (DRS): The DRS is a comprehensive knowledge center that includes all regulatory guidance material from the Office of Aviation Safety. DRS combines more than 65 document types from a dozen repositories into a single searchable application. It also includes all information found in the Flight Standards Information System (FSIMS) and the agency's Regulatory Guidance System (RGL). You can browse or search the more than 2 million regulatory guidance documents. A complex search engine serves as the backbone of DRS and allows for basic or very advanced searches while applying a variety of filters. The system includes pending, current, and historical versions of all documents along with their revision history. To ensure you have the most current documents, it is updated every 24 hours

For the adaptive user, this PDF contains accessible information in both visual and audio formats. The PDF uses accessibility-related software or peripheral devices to maximize use while navigating tags and tabbing, descriptive text (ALT-text), color and graphics, and scalable views.
