Basic Med
- The BasicMed for GA Pilots effective May 1, 2017. You can fly without an FAA Medical, if you meet BasicMed Requirements.

Applicants must make an appointment with the MKE FSDO for the following services requiring FAA Inspector review:
- CFI Renewals based on Duties and Responsibilities.
- Initial application for adding Gold Seal to CFI
- Removal of English Language Limitation
- Airman Change to Personal Data - Change of name, nationality, gender and/or date of birth
- A&P Application based on experience
- Initial and Renewal IA applications
- Initial Repairmen applications
IA Renewal
Expiration: According to CFR part 65.92(a) each inspection authorization (IA) expires on March 31 of each odd-numbered year.
Renewal Eligibility: An applicant must provide evidence during March of the odd-numbered years. The evidence must show the IA meets requirements of CFR part 65.91(c)(1) through (4) and CFR part 65.93(a)(1) through (5).
Please make note of any requirements that are contingent on specific time periods, such as the first or second year of authorization period. If the activities are not completed during the specific time periods, then the evidence will not be accepted.
Application: Renewal applications can be submitted via the IACRA portal.

IACRA stands for Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application
Some applications that are available in IACRA include Inspection Authorizations, Repairman, Various Pilot Certificates, Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, among others.
There is a user guide available on the site, as well as site feedback.
Accidents and Concerns (New Section)
Report any accidents or incidents to the NTSB. The NTSB site has a list of all required information.
