Broad Agency Announcement Program
Under authority of Public Law No: 116-6: Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019 - Division G— Transportation, Housing And Urban Development, And Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2019; Federal Aviation Administration, Operations Funds (Airport and Airway Trust Fund) the FAA designates “up to $6M which shall be used for providing matching funds to qualified commercial entities seeking to demonstrate or validate technologies that the Federal Aviation Administration considers essential to the safe integration of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the National Airspace System at Federal Aviation Administration designated UAS test sites: Provided further, That not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall identify essential integration technologies that could be demonstrated or validated at test sites designated in accordance with the preceding proviso.”
FAA Broad Agency Announcement provides funding opportunities to Qualified Commercial Entities (QCEs) partnered with a designated Test Site. Under this acquisition program, QCEs have an opportunity to demonstrate and advance their UAS technologies at one of the seven UAS Test Sites. At this time Call 005 is closed out and no longer active. Broad Agency Announcement 692M15-19-R-00020 is also closed and no longer active. No additional BAA Calls will be issued against this Broad Agency Announcement.
