Informal Pacific ATC Coordinating Group (IPACG)
The IPACG provides an opportunity for air traffic service (ATS) providers and airspace operators to informally meet and explore solutions to near-term ATC problems that limit capacity or efficiency in the Anchorage, Fukuoka and Oakland Oceanic Flight Information Regions (FIRs). IPACG is jointly sponsored by the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) and the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Upcoming IPACG Meetings
The 50th Informal Pacific ATC Coordinating Group (IPACG/50) Meeting and 37th FANS Interoperability Team (FIT/37) Meeting will be hosted by the United States March 9-13, 2026, at the FAA's Southwest Regional Office in Fort Worth, Texas.
This landmark meeting celebrates nearly four decades of successful US-Japan aviation collaboration, with IPACG serving as the premier forum for enhancing air traffic control operations across the Anchorage, Fukuoka, and Oakland oceanic flight information regions since its co-sponsorship by the FAA and Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) began in 1989.
The 50th IPACG meeting offers a pivotal opportunity for regional aviation stakeholders to advance oceanic air traffic management solutions while preserving the collaborative framework that has underpinned Pacific aviation operations for decades.
